Nebraska-based Valmont Industries Inc. (NYSE: VMI) hired Mid-States Construction to build their utility pole plant in Elkhart County. The 75,000-square-foot facility in Bristol produces concrete utility poles.
The Valmont facility will manufacture utility poles that can stretch to 140 feet long.
